WIPIT supports the introduction of the EUDI Wallet

WIPIT is one of over 75 companies and organizations that have joined Bitkom and the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport in signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the introduction of the EUDI Wallet. By doing so, we are actively supporting the development of a secure, user-friendly, and interoperable ecosystem for digital identities across Europe.

The MoU was unveiled today at the European Digital Sovereignty Summit. Through our participation, we reaffirm our commitment to the successful implementation of the EUDI Wallet in Germany and across Europe.

A joint kickoff meeting with the BMDS, SPRIND, and all signatories is planned for later this year, where the next steps for implementation will be presented.
