WIPIT is among the more than 75 companies and organizations that have jointly signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the introduction of the EUDI Wallet together with Bitkom and the Federal Ministry for Digital and Administrative Modernization (BMDS). With this, we actively support the development of a secure, user-friendly, and Europe-wide interoperable ecosystem for digital identities.

The MoU was presented today at the Summit on European Digital Sovereignty. By participating, we reaffirm our contribution to the successful implementation of the EUDI Wallet in Germany and Europe.

Later this year, a joint kick-off with BMDS, SPRIND, and all signatories is planned, during which the next steps for implementation will be presented.
