WIPIT, led by Dr. Wolfgang Weitnauer, provided comprehensive legal advice to SAX Power GmbH ("SAX Power"), a company specializing in the manufacture of electricity storage systems, during its third financing round of 10 million euros. The funds were provided by a consortium of international and regional investors. The lead investor is Paris-based Yotta Capital Partners. Other investors include Alb-Donau-Ulm Kapital GmbH, an investment company of Sparkasse Ulm, as well as other private investors.

With this capital injection, SAX Power is strengthening its position as an innovative manufacturer of battery storage systems and consistently continuing its industrial scaling. The company is currently expanding its production capacity at its site in Erbach near Ulm and plans to expand its business to include storage units for the commercial and industrial sectors, as well as large-scale storage systems to complement wind and solar farms.

SAX Power develops and produces electricity storage systems using patented technology that eliminates the need for a downstream inverter, thereby achieving exceptionally high efficiency, safety, and longevity. The systems are already being used successfully in the European market and are set to be rolled out internationally on a larger scale in the future.

With this completed financing round, SAX Power is continuing its growth strategy and making a significant contribution to the energy transition through sustainable storage technologies.
