We are pleased to announce the appointment of Marius Tauchmann and Maximilian Beiche as Salary Partners, and Sandra Bischoff as Counsel:

• Marius is a new Salary Partner in our Munich office. He advises financial investors, strategic investors, and founders on venture capital and M&A transactions, as well as corporate law. Marius began his legal career nearly four years ago in the team of Dr. Wolfgang Weitnauer and Benedikt Mahr and is a true homegrown talent of our firm. Since then, he has been an integral part of our VC practice, working closely with Dr. Wolfgang Weitnauer, Benedikt Mahr, and, across our offices, with our other corporate partners Prof. Dr. Hans-Eric Rasmussen-Bonne, Andreas Michael and Kai Grunwald together. In his new role, he will continue to expand and strengthen the practice.

• Maximilian is a new Salary Partner at our Berlin office. Within our IT and data law practice group, Maximilian focuses on the intersection of technology and communications. As a specialist in artificial intelligence law and the Data Act, he provides legal certainty for innovation. He is also our expert in media and defamation law, ensuring that our clients' interests remain protected even when facing media-related challenges. Max began his legal career six years ago and has been part of our "Tech Team" led by partners Dr. Lars Siebert, Dr. Matthias Terbach, Jan Dirkwinkel and Axel Dumannsince mid-2022, which co-founded WIPIT at the beginning of 2025.

• Sandra has been promoted to Counsel at our Berlin office. Sandra has been a lawyer for seven years and has been part of our "Tech Team" since 2020, specializing in IT and data protection law. She ensures that our clients' innovations and digital business models are built on a solid legal foundation—from the initial idea to scaling. She brings a comprehensive technical understanding of IT matters and regularly resolves issues for our clients who are at the forefront of technical developments. We are delighted that she is now taking her next career step with us.
